Insurance Exclusion

The directors of United Wheatgrowers (NZ) Ltd wish to advise growers that Insurance providers FMG have confirmed that a standard terrorism exclusion has been included in the latest insurance contract for the Wheat scheme. This has implications for wheat growers, particularly if any wheat crops were destroyed by political opponents of genetic engineering. It is important that growers are aware of this exclusion, even though involvement in this type of activity is unlikely in the short term.
